ACOUSTIC GUITARIST

World class guitarist available for Restaurant, Bar, High End Open Houses, Corporate and Private event performances

Al has been called a ‘phenom’, ‘ridiculous’ and an ‘intense’ player with fiery passion. He has toured internationally, shared the large concert stage with a multi Grammy winning artist and spent hundreds of hours in the recording studio recording for others as well as creating his own music. He is a ‘Guitarist’ - not simply a ‘Guitar Player’. Recently he was sought out and appeared as the guest guitarist for an Alaska Airlines event and commercial.

After playing for a friends corporate event last year, he was asked by several people if he'd be interested in playing for others, as well.  It was then that he realized that this would be an amazing opportunity to play more acoustic music, and entertain more people as well.  Since then, he has played Corporate Events, Weddings, Birthdays, Upscale Restaurants, Luxury Home Open Houses, Bars and Private Parties.

Listening to Al play acoustic guitar is like experiencing a detonation of sound, intensity and style.  Never shy about his talent and presence, he always ensures that he is providing exactly what the client is looking for.  Only someone with years and years of professional experience can give you exactly what you're looking for.  Al does this every time he provides his musical expertise for any event, wedding or performance.

Al is AMAZING! I hired him to work a cocktail event at a country club and he was a perfect addition to the ambiance. He is so talented - many of the guests were asking him if he had any business cards so the y could hire him for future events. SO happy I found him. I’m definitely going to hire him again. Thank you Al.

I am so thrilled that we were able to hire Al for our event! He was very professional from start to finish of the process. I overheard several guests at our event complimenting his performance. I’m pleased that I found GigMasters and plan to use this site again. We also hope to hire Al for future events.

I appreciate that he came early, listen to my suggestions for the type of mood I wanted to create with my clients. He was also perceptive to my signals for the times I needed to speak or even sing Happy Birthday, he was all in and everyone enjoyed his performance. I would highly recommend him and when the opportunity present itself I will use him again.

Why do i need a teacher when there are other methods?

It’s a great question. There all kinds of methods, apps and channels available to all of us, which I think is fantastic. I really do. I use them all myself. I’ve always figured that if I can learn one thing from a book or video that makes me a better player, that’s a win. However despite having played for over 30 years and being around some of the best musicians in the world, I still learn the most when I take lessons from a real teacher. Now, I still use books, apps and YouTube to learn new things however, what I realized is that no one is really holding me accountable. Additionally, one views all of these methods through our own limited lens. One of the most beneficial parts of working with a teacher is the interaction and seeing things through someone else’s lens of experience as well as having someone mentor you along your musical journey.

I began teaching after I’d only been playing for two years because I realized that in order to teach something, I really had to understand it and execute on that knowledge. It was a effective way to hold myself accountable to my own demanding standards and be able to work with students that really wanted to learn.

I will be accepting new students beginning in March and I will only be taking a handful of students because of my schedule, but will be keeping names of file for future openings. I am looking forward to teaching again, from young kids to retiree’s - from people just starting to those who are already proficient.

*I teach absolute beginners to advanced students*

Please send me an email through the fillable section in the ‘News and Updates’ and I’ll get back with you regarding pricing and learn more about what your goals are (I’ve taught people who just want to learn a few chords or songs to people that want to learn really advanced techniques). I also teach electric and acoustic. Look forward to hearing from you

Ladybug House

Mission

To provide children, adolescents, young adults, and their families respite from the challenges of life-limiting illness.

Our Goal

Our immediate goal is to build Washington's first family-centered respite care home for children, adolescents, and young adults with life-limiting illnesses.

 Our Care Philosophy

When a child is diagnosed with a life-limiting illness, we understand that the family’s world is turned upside down. For many, this is the beginning of an emotional journey which is unpredictable and full of challenges. Ladybug House will offer compassionate therapies which include pain management and support services for families’ physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs.

We will establish a family support team which will provide a full range of respite and hospice care services to individuals, couples or families. We believe palliative care can help loved ones make the most of every moment they have together.

 Why Ladybug House is needed

At any given moment in the United States, over 565,000 children are within the last six months of their lives.

Many hospitals provide high quality hospice and palliative care. 80% of pediatric deaths occur in hospitals. The Ladybug House would provide quality of life and respite from the sometimes sterile and challenging context of traditional hospital settings.

Ladybug House will provide support to families during the unimaginable in a home full of life, love and respect. We will meet families’ needs as they define them for as long as they need us. We will celebrate every day, every moment, and every life.
